The main things that make a trailer a motorcycle trailer are the following;
- lower bed to the ground which is achieved by using a drop axle or smaller tires. This reduces the angle of the ramp allowing for easier and safer loading and unloading
- ramp door
- tie downs, either d-rings or e-track preferably recessed and welded to the frame and or cross members
- flap on the ramp is popular but in my opinion unnecessary and a added strain on the ramp door spring leading to premature weakening
- stabilizer jacks. once again not a fan of them from personal experience. They hang down about three inches from the back bottom of the trailer and can hang the trailer up if you go from a level surface to a sudden uphill grade. This happened to me and I cut them off my trailer. After all you should not load or unload the trailer when the trailer is not hooked to the car/truck anyway.
- side door is a must
- flow through side wall ventilation is the best
- wheel chock are a matter of preference. I have used Condors for years and find them superior to most. We are an authorized condor Dealer. They have a website with videos so check them out.
